Our Story

Pendrey Rural Supplies has been owned & operated by the Henchie family since 1986.

Pendrey Rural Supplies was established by Neil Henchie in 1986. Up until that time Neil had been a much-loved livestock ‘Stockie’ for Wesfarmers working in towns across the South West and Great Southern regions. Neil met his wife Denise (nee. Walsh) while working in the Busselton area and they later purchased the Busselton Wesfarmers store. Neil came up with the name ‘Pendrey’ using the first letters of his family’s names. The ‘r’ is for Ryan, his son, who joined Pendrey in 2000. Neil, now retired, worked with Wesfarmers (now Nutrien) for over 45 years.
